CheetahMail Event Puts Clients on the Right Track to Email Relevance
Over 300 Brand Leaders and Industry Experts Gathered in New York City for CheetahMail’s Second Annual Client Summit: The Subway Series
New York, NY, July 16, 2007 – CheetahMail, an Experian company, the global leading email marketing and customer intelligence solutions company, today announced the successful conclusion of its second annual Client Summit, The Subway Series, finding the right track to email relevance. The attendance at this year’s gathering, held at the Hudson Theatre in New York City June 13th – 15th, doubled in capacity from the previous year—drawing more than 300 CheetahMail clients from many of the world’s largest and most widely recognizable brands. This exclusive event focused on the significance of testing, segmentation and relevant messaging, giving CheetahMail clients the opportunity to share ideas and discuss digital marketing tactics to better develop and improve their email marketing programs.
The full day event kicked off with an engaging talk from keynote speaker, marketing guru and best-selling author David Weinberger. Attendees heard from top industry analysts David Daniels of JupiterResearch and Elana Anderson of Forrester Research, who discussed the state of email marketing and steps to driving customer centricity. CheetahMail experts also held workshops throughout the day which focused on key topics such as email marketing best practices, creative strategies, digital analytics, deliverability and compliance.
CheetahMail Client Advisory board members Aaron Cano from 1-800Flowers, Catherine Davis of Neiman Marcus and Scott Rich from Limited Brands participated in a client fireside chat, discussing digital marketing strategies and sharing some of their success stories.
CheetahMail president Matthew Seeley and chief technology officer Dr. Fred Lindberg presented the audience with notable news regarding the future of the company and its roadmap for the current year. Specifically, CheetahMail announced that it will be taking on the umbrella name Experian CheetahMail, further aligning itself with its parent company, Experian. Matthew Seeley explains, “Experian CheetahMail simply gives us more leverage to offer a wider array of products and applications which further cater to our clients’ needs. It provides us with the mobility necessary to expand our product offering while continuing to focus on the promotion and growth of the CheetahMail and SiteClarity brands.”
The rebranding initiative coincides with the launch of CheetahMail’s new Web 2.0 version of its email platform, set for release in early 2008. This highly-anticipated application was carefully developed based on customer feedback and technical advancement, and is equipped with new drag-and-drop features, robust analysis tools and the ability to handle larger amounts of data. In addition, this upgraded version is able to handle Web 2.0 design components such as AJAX and CSS.
“Once again CheetahMail continues to impress us. The client summit was one of the most informative and engaging industry events I attended all year. The event had the perfect balance of industry insight, diverse client case studies and best practice examples. It’s nice to see what other effective email practices are being championed across different industries.” –Lisa Hendrikson, Director of Direct Marketing for 1-800Flowers.
